~* Welcome to my little home devoted to graphics *~ 

   We all have hobbies and interests -- and playing with my graphics program happens to be mine.  What started out as just a desire to make a signature graphic for a SIMS forum had turned into a full-blown passion. 

   Ironically, I'm not alone with this strange hobby.  It's a hobby that's attracted males and females of all ages and backgrounds.  So few hobbies can claim such a wide variety of interested parties, and I'm proud to be among them.  The most commonly used term for these wonderful little graphics is known as "dollz" or "dolls".  

   Over the years I've watched as "dollz/dolls" evolved into this complex matrix of talent, expression and  enjoyment.  I can't say there's a single right way to make them -- you just find your own style and go with it.

   I could probably go on at length of the history, when really, I feel I only stumbled upon them back when they were adaptations of the palace avatar with their introduction to the WWW.  If you really want to know the history -- I can point you to a few amazing places.  Creators who I feel are part of the fabric of their palace origins, and without their creative efforts we wouldn't be enjoying these today.

~* Brief History  Animate My World *~

The Original Animate My World opened it's doors in August of 2000.  Started as a home just to host signatures.  :)  I guess things have really changed since then.  

Moon Swing theme for Animate My World opened in September of 2001.  With over 200,000 hits,  I can't thank you all enough for your encouragement and thoughtfulness.
